Apple is suing Australian litigation funder Omni Bridgeway to force it to turn over documents on a long-running patent claim against the iPhone maker.
Finland’s MPH Technologies sued Apple in 2018 alleging that it had breached eight patents with its messaging services and demanding payment. The case has been through several courts since then as Apple challenged the validity of the patents and then contested that it had breached them.
