Afterpay, Zip founders back insurance disruptor

Fintech start-up Honey Insurance has secured big-name backers for a $15.5 million funding round as it seeks to jazz up the home contents insurance market by sending new customers $250 worth of smart home sensors on sign-up.
A raft of investors includes insurance company RACQ, property settlement software firm PEXA, building companies Metricon and Mirvac, ABN, AGL, SFG, REI and APEX Capital.
