It's more then one year since the takeover sirens started sounding at Monash IVF and the board called investment bank Macquarie Capital to ready the defences.

It is understood a handful of tyrekickers have come and gone since - some more serious than others - and dealmaking elsewhere in the fertility sector has given Monash IVF plenty to think about.
