CBA analysts Nizar Torlakovic and Sidney Chow have flagged some of the changes in the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s short positions data for February 20 as “suspect".
“While the data has not been flagged as suspect by ASIC, for the purpose of this report we will use February 19 as the last date of available data," they said in a note to clients on Friday.
