Australian Unity property pair ink $1.2b merger, deal by Christmas

Two Australian Unity property funds have formally agreed to tie the knot and create a $1.2 billion diversified listed A-REIT by Christmas.

It is understood Australian Unity Office Fund and its sister, Australian Unity Diversified Property Fund, signed a formal merger implementation agreement over the weekend and will tell investors the news as early as Monday.
