Blackmagic Design, one of Melbourne’s largest private employers, is expecting a further fall in profit this year before a recovery led by research and development.
The maker of video and broadcast equipment, whose colour graders and cameras are used by everyone from Hollywood studios to social media influencers, already suffered a precipitous fall in net profit between 2020-21 and 2021-22.
