Rich Lister and property billionaire Con Makris expects Australia's property market to rebound for an extended period from early 2020, with the risks of any further substantial slide having now abated.
Mr Makris, whose estimated personal fortune of $1.31 billion ranks him 69th on 2019's Financial Review Rich List, believes extra confidence will slowly build after the certainty provided by Prime Minister Scott Morrison's election win and the rejection of Labor's negative gearing and capital gains tax changes.
