Rupert Murdoch goes under the radar, debuts walking aid

The 94-year-old retired media mogul appears to need ambulatory assistance for his undercover outings.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has been going to the Allen & Co conference at Sun Valley for decades.

In 2006, Murdoch showed up soon after acquiring MySpace for $US580 million. A year later he attended while in the final throes of buying The Wall Street Journal. He even went to the conference in the middle of the UK phone hacking scandal in 2011, getting bombarded with questions about the closure of the News of the World.
