Financial Services Council boss Blake Briggs believes “facts, not conjecture” should guide Clare O’Neil’s review of the immigration system that is likely to kill off golden ticket visas for wealthy Chinese migrants.

Despite this, Briggs, writing in The Australian this week, was unusually selective as to which facts he deployed in his defence of the so-called Significant Investor Visa (SIV) scheme.
