The Australian National University has forked out more than $1 million for consulting services from Nous Group since last August, as it seeks advice on vice-chancellor Genevieve Bell’s cost-saving mission.
Staff have questioned the value of these contracts. So far, Nous’ advice seems to focus on cutting their jobs while chancellor Julie Bishop gets to maintain her flash Perth office and extensive travel budget. Particularly as ANU has tied itself in knots trying to downplay the total cost.
