Two rounds into the 2025 AFL men’s season and it’s already not looking good for the Carlton Football Club. They have lost both their games, including what should have been a slam dunk win against Richmond in round one.
Carlton’s poor start follows months of uncertainty for its tired fans and sponsors. In January, the club’s then-president Luke Sayers was forced to step down amid a dick pic scandal and investigation by the AFL Integrity Unit. (The AFL ultimately agreed with Sayers’ explanation that he was hacked. But the person behind the post remains at large.)
