Carlton fans shift ire from Luke Sayers to Rob Priestley

Two rounds into the 2025 AFL men’s season and it’s already not looking good for the Carlton Football Club. They have lost both their games, including what should have been a slam dunk win against Richmond in round one.

Carlton’s poor start follows months of uncertainty for its tired fans and sponsors. In January, the club’s then-president Luke Sayers was forced to step down amid a dick pic scandal and investigation by the AFL Integrity Unit. (The AFL ultimately agreed with Sayers’ explanation that he was hacked. But the person behind the post remains at large.)
