Tim Gurner made a quick fortune in the property boom over the past decade, but the 35-year-old Financial Review Rich Lister is adamant talk of an overheated market is wrong.

Gurner's eponymous development group has already settled on about 450 apartments since January and acquired several new sites in Melbourne and other eastern states. He's recently launched a new luxury $150 million Albert Park Residences project in South Melbourne that includes six two-level penthouses, a concierge and valet service, lap pool, private bar, pool table and wine cellar.
