Jo McGann and Andrew McConnell, the culinary power duo behind dining institutions such as Cumulus Inc., Supernormal and Gimlet, have emerged as the buyers of a striking treehouse-style home in Melbourne’s most expensive suburb, Toorak.

Designed by acclaimed modernist architect Robin Boyd in 1955, the property known as Richardson House first hit Melbourne’s prestige market last month, guiding $15.9 million to $17 million. The final sale price is undisclosed.
