Point Piper’s $130m Elaine returns to market as four trophy estates

After seven years sitting silent and empty, landmark Point Piper estate Elaine could soon be home to multiple new residents, with word the prized harbourside estate will be sold off as four trophy sites.

The Australian Financial Review can reveal the near 7000-square metre landholding in Sydney’s east – which spans a sloping harbourside block between Double Bay and Point Piper – has just settled to a consortium of developers who purchased uninhabited Elaine from its previous owner tech billionaire Scott Farquhar $130 million in October last year.
