Melbourne blue-blood agent denies underquoting allegations

A Melbourne real estate agent has been forced to deny accusations of underquoting on an Armadale property, which he describes as dilapidated with no comparable sales in the area.

Kay & Burton agent Grant Samuel on Wednesday said the 68 Rose Street house he was marketing with a price guide of $3.8 million to $4.1 million was not a case of underquoting, after buyer’s agent David Morrell and one other person lodged complaints with Consumer Affairs Victoria about what they said was a low price guide.
