Standard & Poor’s lifts ratings on Scentre, QIC and GPT funds

S&P Global Ratings has raised its rating to stable from negative on GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund, QIC Shopping Centre Fund and ASX-listed Scentre Group, saying a prudent response by Australian retail REITs to COVID-19 would give a buffer to weather further disruptions.

The Australian Financial Review incorrectly reported in Friday’s newspaper, July 9, that the agency had cut its ratings on the REITs.
