Operating the $56 billion portfolio of Westfield malls in Australia, ASX-listed Scentre led by Peter Allen has been on the front line of the coronavirus pandemic.
Along with other major landlords, Scentre moved early to withdraw its guidance for earnings and distributions as the impact of the deadly virus and social distancing measures adopted to combat it took a toll on the property sector.
