Western Australia could deliver incoming prime minister Anthony Albanese majority government after four seats fell to Labor, including those held by Indigenous Affairs Minister Ken Wyatt and Scott Morrison ally Ben Morton.

The result caps off a brutal few years for the WA Liberals. Last year, the party was left with just two seats in the state parliament after being eviscerated by the government led by popular Premier Mark McGowan.
