Victorian parliament likely to be ‘less bizarre’ than the last term

The Greens and several other minor party MPs, including Fiona Patten and two members of Legalise Cannabis, could hold the balance of power in the Victorian upper house, with Labor predicted to need six votes to pass legislation.
The Greens are on track to increase their Legislative Council representation from one to four, with former environment lawyer Katherine Copsey already locked in for the Southern Metro region.
