Daniel Andrews faces a hostile and potentially unworkable Parliament heavily influenced by both the religious right and green left, according to independent state MP Fiona Patten.
She believes a raft of preference deals in the state upper house is likely to give a host of religious conservatives the edge, including expelled Liberal Party member Bernie Finn, whose policies include criminalising abortion.
