A prospective candidate to replace Christian Porter in the seat of Pearce says he cannot consider nominating for Liberal Party preselection because he is locked out of Western Australia.
Former Liberal MP Peter Katsambanis, who served in the West Australian State Parliament from 2013 to 2021, told The Australian Financial Review he could not even consider nominating for the former attorney-general’s seat because he would not be able to campaign in person.
