Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has urged Queenslanders to get vaccinated as soon as possible before the delta variant of COVID-19 takes off in the state like in NSW and Victoria.

While Queensland Health authorities have so far managed to contain the latest coronavirus cluster in Beenleigh, the Palaszczuk government is preparing for the inevitable incursion of the more contagious variant in Queensland.
