Palaszczuk ministers stand by Jim Soorley amid lobbyist claims
Queensland Treasurer Cameron Dick and Energy Minister Anthony Lynham have stood by the chairman of state-owned energy company CS Energy, who has been referred to the anti-corruption body for allegedly working as a lobbyist.
Only weeks before the October 31 state election, the Liberal National Party has referred ALP veteran Jim Soorley to the Crime and Corruption Commission after court action from a disgruntled restaurateur seeking $2500 back he allegedly paid Mr Soorley, in a car park, for lobbying work over a lease problem.
