Minister’s car use may have included 137km weekend sport drop-off

NSW Premier Chris Minns is under pressure to sack his transport minister, Jo Haylen, over her use of taxpayer-funded travel to a winery lunch and trips to Sydney that reportedly included dropping her children at Saturday sport.

Mr Minns has ordered a review of guidelines after Ms Haylen acknowledged she made the wrong decision and agreed to repay $750 for a 446-kilometre round-trip for a driver to come from Sydney to her holiday home and take her to lunch at a Hunter Valley winery over the Australia Day weekend.
