More than 80 per cent of Transport for NSW non-frontline staff attend the office one day a week or less, with barely any improvement in attendance since Premier Chris Minns issued a statewide edict to get public servants back to the office.
Government information compiled for a public access request reveal non-frontline staff for the department – which has one of the largest government workforces in the state – attend the office just one quarter of the time. That figure hasn’t budged in the eight months since the central policy on office attendance changed.
