Three months ago, in The Australian Financial Review/Freshwater Strategy poll, the Coalition for the first time since the May 2022 election moved past Labor in the two-party-preferred vote to lead by 51 per cent to 49 per cent.
In last month’s poll, it stretched that lead to 52-48 before it nestled back to 51-49 in the latest October poll, published on Monday.
