Travellers departing for Australia will no longer be required to undergo pre-departure COVID-19 tests, under changes to biosecurity rules due to come into effect next month.
Health Minister Greg Hunt announced on Friday he would not extend restrictions requiring arriving travellers to present a negative result beyond April 17, when the existing rule extension is due to lapse.
