Union biff no worry for Griff
Key crossbencher Stirling Griff says unions have “lost the plot” if they plan to campaign against him at the next federal election after his vote delivered just one of the five industrial relations reforms the Morrison government pursued.
Senator Griff backed the government over reforms to casualisation of workers, despite the defeat of an amendment he moved to exclude ongoing court cases against labour hire firms from the bill’s anti-double dipping provisions.
