The election will be about who the mob distrusts the least

Whichever of the two major party leaders winds up Prime Minister, they will have been elected grudgingly.

Labor and the Coalition parties are so on the nose with the Australian voting public that the winner of the 2025 election won’t be determined by their diminishing band of primary vote supporters, but by those voters who can’t abide either of them.

During the past two decades, indicators of alienation from the political process have all been telling the same story.
