Teal MP Monique Ryan sued over sacking for ‘unreasonable hours’
Campaigner turned political staffer Sally Rugg is suing the Commonwealth and teal independent MP Monique Ryan for trying to sack her because she refused to work “unreasonable” hours.
Ms Rugg, who joined Dr Ryan’s office as chief of staff six months ago, is seeking orders from the Fair Work Commission that the federal government “engaged in hostile conduct in the workplace” with Dr Ryan’s involvement.
