PM must call for ACCC supermarket price gouging probe: AFR readers
More than two-thirds of readers of The Australian Financial Review believe the Albanese government should request the consumer watchdog to investigate claims of price gouging by the major supermarkets.
Almost half of respondents to the latest Financial Review reader poll did not believe the government was doing enough to address cost of living, with close to 70 per cent urging it to call on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to scrutinise supermarkets.
