MP’s sympathy for bureaucrat in NACC ‘hot seat’

Full marks to bureaucrat Sarah Chidgey, for holding the line as MPs and senators took their turn at the public hearings for the new National Anti-Corruption Commission this week.
Chidgey is the deputy secretary in Attorney-General’s Department who was in charge of drafting the legislation for the NACC. So, appearing before the joint committee was going to be part of that gig.
