More than one-third change travel plans due to virus: poll

Almost every Australian voter is aware of the coronavirus threat, the vast majority believe it will have a negative impact on the economy, and more than a third say it will affect their travel plans, new polling reveals.

The polling, by Utting research, sampled 2600 people on Wednesday and Thursday last week, as Prime Minister Scott Morrison escalated the nation's response levels in anticipation of the outbreak being declared a global pandemic.
