A Dutton government would be committed to tax reform but the budget needed to be repaired first so meaningful change could be afforded, shadow treasurer Angus Taylor has pledged.
Under fire from the government for promising to repeal the top-up tax cuts announced in last week’s federal budget, Taylor said given the state of the books, it would be dishonest to argue those cuts were affordable.
