The Murugappan family remain in a legal limbo over their immigration status even as they prepare to return to their Central Queensland community of Biloela, their lawyer Carina Ford says.
Interim Home Affairs Minister Jim Chalmers has granted the family bridging visas, but their legal fight to remain in Australia permanently continues.
