Lawyers have said enough on Voice: leading silk Bret Walker

Top barrister Bret Walker, SC, has decried the “excessive” emphasis on legal concerns about the Indigenous Voice, saying it was “a pity” lawyers had played a significant role in the debate.
Mr Walker, regarded as Australia’s leading silk, said none of the “serious choices” for voters at the referendum, expected to be held in October, involved legal issues.
