Kiwis to get fast-track citizenship pathway in Australia
Australia will offer a direct pathway to citizenship for some New Zealanders, matching rules for Aussies across the Tasman and skipping permanent residency requirements.
As New Zealand’s Prime Minister Chris Hipkins visits Australia at the weekend, Anthony Albanese has announced more accessible rules for all Kiwi special category visa holders, provided they meet a four-year residency threshold and other normal eligibility requirements.
