The Albanese government will roll back the failed Morrison government policy that increased fees for arts and humanities degrees, as part of a suite of measures to lower student debt.

Health Minister Mark Butler confirmed his colleague, Education Minister Jason Clare, was working on the changes as part of his response to the Australian Universities Accord, a 12-month review of the higher education system.
