Gas, nukes don’t change the importance of energy targets: poll
Two in three readers of The Australian Financial Review believe it is either essential or important that Australia meets its 2030 emissions target despite widespread speculation that the country is on track to miss it.
Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen maintains the Albanese government can still meet its target of cutting Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions by 43 per cent below 2005 levels by the end of the decade.
