Australia should follow Donald Trump’s moves to recognise only two sexes – male and female – and limit government promotion of gender transitions and efforts to include transgender people, prominent Coalition MPs say.

The US president used his first hours in office on Tuesday to issue a slew of executive orders, including rolling back moves to recognise diverse gender identity and sexual orientation.
