The battle for the north Sydney seat of Bradfield is not over with the Liberal Party to challenge in court the final result, which handed the once-blue ribbon electorate to teal independent Nicolette Boele by just 26 votes.
On Monday, defeated Liberal candidate Gisele Kapterian lodged a petition with the High Court, acting as the Court of Disputed Returns, to re-examine “a small number” of disputed ballot papers.
