Peter Dutton is regarded as a stronger and more decisive leader than Anthony Albanese, according to a new poll that shows the opposition leader outstripping the prime minister on most key leadership attributes.
The latest The Australian Financial Review/Freshwater Strategy poll shows Mr Albanese leads Mr Dutton on just two attributes. The prime minister has an 8 percentage point lead on “would be easy to speak to” and a 2-point lead on “is in touch with ordinary people”.
