Darwin locks down after Brisbane hotel bungle

A COVID-19 outbreak in the Northern Territory which forced more than 100,000 people into a snap 48-hour lockdown on Sunday was caused by Queensland ordering a mine worker into hotel quarantine.
The fly in, fly out worker from Bendigo caught what is thought to be the highly contagious delta COVID-19 variant while staying at the hotel.
