Vice chancellors have backed the Coalition’s direction for universities, saying it is time they got back to basics and prioritised their efforts on domestic students.
Three vice chancellors said a speech by opposition education spokeswoman Sarah Henderson on Wednesday provided a clear path for where the Coalition intended to take higher education policy and that recent criticisms of their stewardship of the sector were justified.
