It’s gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. The bitter divorce that is rocking the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining, and Energy Union (CFMEU) has now descended to the infantile level about which division is the most industrially lawless.

Leaving aside the issue of just how deeply lawless behaviour is ingrained in this union’s culture, it reveals an organisation that is hopelessly divided with both the manufacturing and mining and energy divisions wanting to go their separate ways.
