CEOs call for ‘tough decisions’ on skills and energy transition

The bosses of some of Australia’s biggest businesses say they are looking for the next government to be willing to make tough decisions on policies that will provide greater certainty over the energy transition, tackle climate change and address labour shortages in a tight economy.

They have also called for greater preparation and planning to ensure Australia can compete in an increasingly global digitally powered economy, and encouraged better bipartisan co-operation on key policy debates.
