-Ukraine drone attacks ammunition dump in Crimea. A drone attack on an ammunition depot in Crimea prompted authorities to evacuate a 5-km radius and briefly suspend road traffic on the bridge linking the peninsula to Russia, the region’s Moscow-installed governor said

-US cools on push to send long-range missiles to Ukraine. The Biden administration is holding firm, for now at least, on its refusal to send long-range missiles to Ukraine, despite mounting pressure from US lawmakers and pleas from the government in Kyiv, according to US officials.

-Putin beefs up personal security with tanks, warplanes and special forces. Vladimir Putin has reinforced his National Guard with its own elite special forces unit, as well as tanks, warplanes, and artillery, to protect him from another rebellion.

-2000 evacuated from Rhodes as fires approach resorts. A large wildfire burning on the Greek island of Rhodes for a fifth day has forced authorities to order an evacuation of four locations, including two seaside resorts.
