Businesses face $1.9b bill without workers’ comp reforms: Mookhey

Employers will be forced to pay an extra $1.9 billion over four years in premiums if the Coalition guts Labor’s workers’ compensation reforms, NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey claims.

Opposition Leader Mark Speakman claimed the figure had “been plucked out of the air” on Wednesday, after the bill passed the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday evening.
