Aussies return from Peru but others remain stranded

Melbourne man Michael Eagar is facing his worst nightmare attempting to bring his family home from South America, which has been virtually shut down to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

As 290 Australians returned to Sydney on a charter flight from Chile and Peru on Tuesday, Mr Eagar should have been happy. His Peruvian partner, Fiorella Mendoza Albornoz, and two small children were on the flight.
