Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s indication that Australia could join the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Poland in sending troops on a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine has received strong support from readers of The Australian Financial Review.

Nearly 60 per cent of surveyed readers supported sending troops to Ukraine as peacekeepers in what UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has described as a “coalition of the willing”.
